Alstom: develops in India
(CercleFinance.com) - Alstom has announced finalising the first electric locomotive manufactured at its new site of Madhepura, India, which is part of an order of 800 double-section locomotives, which was signed in 2015 for 3.
5 billion euros.
It also announced three contracts worth nearly 75 million euros for the power supply for the Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation, new trains to Chennai Metro Rail Corporation and electricity for Jaipur Metro Rail Corporation.
In addition, the transport supplier states that the first phase of the construction of the installation of the Madhepura electric locomotives and the depot at Saharanpur is now complete, and that work is going according to the contractual schedule.
