Engie: Q1 EBIT up 30% (non-nuclear)

(CercleFinance.com) - Engie has reported EBIT excluding nuclear of E3.
8bn for Q1 2023, up 29.8% in gross terms and up 28.8% in organic terms, mainly driven by GEMS (Global Energy Management & Sales) and renewables.

Revenue reached E29.2bn, up 14% in gross terms and up 14.2% in organic terms. It says its integrated model has once again demonstrated its ability to take advantage of favourable market conditions.

The energy group confirms its guidance for 2023 with recurring net income and EBIT excluding nuclear expected to be at the top end of their respective ranges, from 3.4 to 4 billion euros and from 6.6 to 7.6 billion euros.
