Engie: dividend approved at general shareholders' meeting
(CercleFinance.com) - Engie announces that its combined general meeting of 17 May has approved all the resolutions, including its ordinary dividend for fiscal year 2018, which has been set at 0.
75 euro per share, plus an exceptional dividend of 0.37 euro per share.
Taking into account the payment of an interim dividend of 0.37 euro made on 12 October 2018, a balance of 0.75 euro will be paid on 23 May. As from 2020 the energy group will pay its annual dividend in one go.
In addition, the board of directors, which has been tightened to around 14 members, has reviewed the composition of its committees. Jean-Pierre Clamadieu thus becomes chairman of the committee for strategy, investment and technology, replacing Edmond Alphandéry.
