Engie: FY EBITDA up 5.3% in organic terms
(CercleFinance.com) - Engie has reported 2017 recurrent net income, group share from continuing operations that is down 2.
4% at 2.4 billion euros, with EBITDA of 9.3 billion euros, down 1.8% in gross terms, although up 5.3% in organic terms.
Almost flat (+0.3%) at 65 billion euros, the energy group's sales increased by 1.7% in organic terms, particularly thanks to higher volumes and prices of commodities sold in the purchase and sale of gas in Europe and LNG in Asia.
For 2018, Engie expects recurrent net income, group share, excluding E&P and LNG, of between 2.45 billion and 2.65 billion euros. In this context, it has announced a dividend of 0.75 euro per share for 2018, up from the 0.70 euro confirmed for 2017.
