Iliad: E500m German bond issue
(CercleFinance.com) - The Iliad group, the parent company of Free, announced late on Wednesday that it has successfully issued a "Schuldscheindarlehen" (private placement under German law to institutional investors) for a total of 500 million euros.
It comprises three tranches in euros, with maturities of 4, 7 and 8 years, at fixed and variable rates.
"The issue was oversubscribed, which enabled the Group to increase the final amount to E500 million compared to the initially announced E300 million. This high investor demand demonstrates the strength of Iliad's business development model in France and Italy and the quality of its financial structure," Iliad said.
