Orange: Q3 revenues pretty flat
(CercleFinance.com) - Orange has posted Q3 revenue of 10.
6 billion euros, up 0.8% year-on-year on a comparable basis (+0.1% on an historical basis), despite roaming that remains penalised by travel restrictions.
"This growth was driven by the momentum in services, in particular wholesale services thanks to the co-financing of the fiber network in France and convergent services which rose 5.7% and 1.5% respectively," the telecoms operator said.
Also announcing Q3 EBITDAaL of 3.58 billion over the past quarter, down 0.4% on a comparable basis, Orange confirms that it does not expect any significant deviation from its financial targets for 2020.
The market seems to like this - the Orange share is up almost 5% an hour after the market opened on Thursday.
