Orange: revenues flat on comparable basis in Q1
(CercleFinance.com) - Orange has posted Q1 2019 revenues of 10,185 million euros, flat (precisely -0.
1% year-on-year) on a comparable basis, although which are up 0.4%, adjusted for the impact of the promotional period on digital reading offers.
At 2,583 million euros, EBITDAaL rose by 0.7%, despite the effect of digital reading offers (+2.8% restated for this effect). On its telecom activities, its EBITDAaL margin improved by +0.4 point in the first quarter.
Based on these results, and excluding the effects of the new network sharing agreement in Spain, Orange confirms its targets for 2019, including an EBITDAaL that will increase, on a comparable basis, at a "more moderate" rate than in 2018.
