Renault: new management structure for the Alliance
(CercleFinance.com) - This morning Nissan, Mitsubishi Motors and Renault announced the creation, by a memorandum of understanding, of an "operational board" of "the Alliance" of these three car makers.
This body will be chaired by Jean-Dominique Senard, Renault's chairman, and will also include the CEOs of the three groups, Hiroto Saikawa, Osamu Masuko and Thierry Bolloré.
"The new Alliance Board will be the sole body overseeing the operations and governance in the Alliance among Renault, Nissan and Mitsubishi, in lieu of RNBV and NMBV. As such, it will be the face and primary driver of the Alliance's "New Start," the companies said. It will meet every month in either Paris or Tokyo, and will have specific operational committees.
"As the 20th anniversary of the Alliance approaches, the boards of Nissan, Renault and Mitsubishi Motors would like to recognize the strong contribution the Alliance has made to the performance of all three companies, and their partners," the companies said.
