Renault: Carlos Ghosn's application for bail approved
(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday the Tokyo court approved the application for bail made by former Nissan chairman Carlos Ghosn's lawyers, which paves the way for his release, Kyodo News said.
The sum has been set at 1 billion yen (9 million dollars) says Kyodo News. Prosecutors may appeal the court's decision to grant bail to Carlos Ghosn.
The application for bail was filed last Thursday at the Tokyo District Court by Carlos Ghosn's new legal team, including Junichiro Hironaka.
