Renault: detention of Carlos Ghosn extended

(CercleFinance.com) - Carlos Ghosn will spend the first days of 2019 in prison.
According to Japanese press, the Tokyo court in fact decided this Monday to extend the detention of the man who is still the CEO of the Renault group until 11 January.

Already indicted in Japan for concealing his revenue, Carlos Ghosn is now accused of suspicions of abuse of trust.

It will be recalled that the company head was arrested on 19 November 2018 upon his arrival on Japanese soil. Since then he has been removed from his functions as president of Nissan and Mitsubishi.
