(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday morning it was reported that Octo Telematics (Octo), the world leader in telematics services in the car insurance sector, has signed a partnership agreement with RCI Bank and Services, which specialises in automotive financing, insurance and related activities for the Renault group brands.
The purpose of this collaboration is to provide telematics services and in-depth data analysis to enhance the driver experience.
As part of its business process, RCI Bank and Services will offer its clients the option of including an Octo box in their vehicle to for a personalised follow-up based on their driving style. Octo will leverage its proven expertise in data analytics to develop a comprehensive profile for every driver and vehicle. This profile will consist of a score that will assess the personal driving style of each driver, as well as the condition of his/her vehicle.
Thus RCI Bank and Services will be able to offer its clients tailor-made services that are adapted to driver profiles. The data collection and analysis will be carried out using Octo's new generation IoT platform, developed with the support of Salesforce, Software AG, SAS and SAP, as well as consulting giants Deloitte and Capgemini.
