BNP Paribas: expected to file offer for Floa Bank today
(CercleFinance.com) - Les Echos says that today BNP Paribas is expected to file its final offer for the purchase of at least 50% of Floa Bank (Banque Casino and Crédit Mutuel, which has almost 3 million customers).
BNP Paribas appears to be in the running with Banque Postale alone on Floa Bank, with Spain's Santander having withdrawn. Invest Securities mentions a price of 200 million euros, following the article in the financial daily.
In the next few days, it is also expected to give an indicative offer on Orange Bank which has nearly 1.2 million customers, the paper says.
Through the deal, BNP Paribas would expand its consumer credit and digital banking offer.
