BNP Paribas: Saur denies it is up for sale.
(CercleFinance.com) - Saur, a specialist in the supply and purification of water and waste management, which is controlled by BNP Paribas and BPCE, yesterday denied information published in Challenges, which said that it was up for sale.
The economic magazine yesterday stated that BNP Paribas and BPCE, former creditors which became Saur's main shareholders during its financial restructuring in the autumn of 2013, were preparing for the group's resale at a price of between 1.4 billion and 1.5 billion euros.
In response to this, through a statement Saur has denied that a sale process has been initiated by its two major French shareholders.
