Société Générale: Frédéric Oudéa, future President of the FB
(CercleFinance.com) - The FBF (French Banking Federation) announces that Frédéric Oudéa, Chief Executive of Société Générale will, on 1 September, succeed Laurent Mignon (Chairman of BPCE) for one year at the head of the French banking organisation.
The post of Vice President of the FBF will go to the Chief Executive of Crédit Agricole SA, Philippe Brassac.
The FBF indicates that Nicolas Théry, president and Chairman of the Board at Confédération Nationale du Crédit Mutuel, will stay on as treasurer. The FBF groups together the 340 banks, French or otherwise, located in France.
