Eiffage: to maintain wind farm offshore from Fécamp
(CercleFinance.com) - Eiffage Construction is to build the maintenance base to service the Fécamp offshore wind farm, one of seven offshore wind turbine sites in France that will come into service between 2022 and 2027.
Eiffage says that it will recruit locally, which will contribute to the creation of a new ecosystem.
Work will normally begin in December 2020, with delivery scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2021.
Once operational, the 71 wind turbines that will form the wind farm will produce over 500MW of electricity. They are due to be commissioned by 2023.
