Eiffage: wins E120m contract in Spain
(CercleFinance.com) - Eiffage's Spanish subsidiary, Eiffage Energía, has won the ESC (engineering, supply and construction) contract of the mega-voltaic photovoltaic park Campanario (250 MWp) in Spain for a total of over 120 million euros.
The project provides for the implementation of five adjacent photovoltaic plants with 50 MWp each, with a total power of 250 MWp. A little over 563,000 solar modules from 440-445 PWp each will be installed on an area of 400 hectares.
The Campanario Mega-voltaic Park will feed nearly 122,000 households with an estimated annual energy production of 96.5 GWp and should avoid the release of more than 187,000 tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere.
This new major electrical infrastructure in Spain is scheduled for the end of 2021.
