Eiffage: contract for Hollandse Kust Noord wind farm
(CercleFinance.com) - Eiffage Métal, through Iemants (a subsidiary of its Belgian entity Smulders), has won a contract, in a consortium with Engie Fabricom, for the design, construction and installation of a transformer substation for the 700 MW Hollandse Kust Noord wind farm, located in the North Sea off the Dutch coast.
Iemants is in charge of the engineering, equipment supply and construction of the steel structures of the upper part and the jacket foundation.
Engie Fabricom is responsible for the engineering, supply, integration, construction and testing (onshore and offshore) of all low voltage, medium voltage, high voltage and ancillary systems for the jacket foundation and topside.
