Eiffage: expects sales and results to fall in 2020
(CercleFinance.com) - Eiffage warns that in 2020 its sales and results, which it initially expected would increase, will now inevitably fall, due to the health crisis relating to the Covid-19 pandemic, which has disrupted its construction and concessions businesses.
The scale will depend on the duration of the containment measures in place at countries where the group operates, their development as well as any restrictions that will follow, depending on the health situation in countries concerned, it added.
However, the group has a solid financial structure - both at the level of Eiffage SA (and its construction subsidiaries) and its concessions entities, including APRR. A number of steps have been taken to limit the effects of this situation on the group's results and cash flow.
