Eiffage: acquires 9 hydro-electric power stations
(CercleFinance.com) - On Thursday evening, Eiffage announced that, through Eiffage Concessions, has acquired nine micro-hydroelectric power stations in south-west France from a private owner.
"Following this acquisition, Eiffage Concessions will renovate the power stations to be standards-compliant and improve their output to increase active power purchased to six megawatts. The project also includes construction of a new power station in Dordogne, in addition to the operation and maintenance of these 10 stations," the group said.
Eiffage Énergie Systèmes (lead company) will complete the works contract as carry out the works contract as co-contractor with Eiffage Génie Civil, and will ensure operations and maintenance. The main works will last three years, for a sum approaching 25 million euros.
