Eiffage: negotiates to buy 49.99% of Toulouse airport
(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday evening Eiffage announced that it has entered into exclusive talks to buy CASIL Europe's entire stake in the capital of the Toulouse-Blagnac airport (ATB), i.
e. 49.99% of its total capital.
This deal is part of Eiffag's strategy to diversify its concessions portfolio, which already has many stakes in transport infrastructures in Europe - it will also prolong its duration, Eiffage said.
Eiffage has also said that the sale procedure to CASIL Europe of the 49.99% stake held by the State in ATB is subject to a legal dispute. This is now being brought before the Council of state. The outcome [of this dispute] determines whether Eiffage will buy CASIL Europe's stake in ATB, the group said.
