Eiffage: to restore Hotel du Palais in Biarritz
(CercleFinance.com) - Eiffage has signed a new contract for the restoration of the iconic Hotel du Palais in Biarritz for a total of 33 million euros.
The contract relates to the restoration, within this classified building, of a hundred bedrooms, receptions and the entire basement welcoming the hotel's services.
The work will be carried out in two instalments. The first, on the renovation of the first half of the rooms, began in October 2018 for a delivery in June 2019, for the summer season and the hosting of the G7 meeting in late August. The hotel will then close again for the second part of the work in October 2019 for a final opening of its 137 rooms in June 2020.
