Eiffage: acquisition in rail infrastructures
(CercleFinance.com) - On Monday morning Eiffage has announced the signing of a purchase agreement, subject to certain conditions, concerning the Meccoli group.
It is specialised in the installation, maintenance and renewal of railways and catenaries in France. Having close to 500 employees, Meccoli makes annual sales of nearly 100 million euros, according to data provided by Eiffage.
Thanks to this new acquisition, which is set to be finalised in early 2019,Eiffage is confirming its presence in the rail infrastructure market in France and internationally, and further strengthens its position as a recognised player in the sector, the group said.
