Eiffage: photovoltaic contract in Chile.
(CercleFinance.com) - Eiffage yesterday announced that it has won a contract for the construction of a photovoltaic plant in Chile, which will require an investment of 135 million euros.
In detail, through its subsidiaries Eiffage Concessions and Eiffage Energía, the construction and civil engineering group signed the contract for the construction of the photovoltaic power plant in Huatacondo, which is located in the Atacama Desert. It will have a production capacity of 98 megawatt peak (MWp).
Eiffage has joined forces with the Japanese groups Sojitz and Shikoku Electric Power to secure financial aspects and share the investment (135 million euros) associated with the operation. It will also benefit from guarantees from the Japanese credit export agency NEXI.
