Lagardère: request for EGM rejected
(CercleFinance.com) - Lagardère announced on Monday evening that its supervisory board has rejected the request from Amber Capital and Vivendi to hold an extraordinary general meeting, considering that "the legal conditions required to diverge from the corporate schedule known to all shareholders are not presently satisfied".
However, in agreement with the managing partners, it decided "to engage in constructive and composed dialogue with the shareholders". This is why its Appointment, Remuneration and CSR Committee has chosen Virginia Banet's nomination for consideration.
The supervisory board also noted the resignations of Aline Sylla-Walbaum and Yves Guillemot, and coopted Valerie Bernis to replace Aline Sylla-Walbaum. She will join the Appointments, Remuneration and CSR Committee.
