Lagardere: Pierre Lescure leaves supervisory board
(CercleFinance.com) - Lagardere SCA announces the departure of Pierre Lescure from its supervisory board, him having taken up a new role as chairman of the supervisory board of a major important operator in the audiovisual sector.
To replace him in his mandate, which was set to last until May 2019, the board has unanimously coopted Jamal Benomar, who was special adviser to the Secretary-General of the United Nations and Under-Secretary-General.
"He will bring his unique international culture and experience, as well as his extensive knowledge of the economics and institutions of numerous countries, especially in Africa and the Middle East," Lagardere said.
