Vivendi: shareholder EGM approves two resolutions
(CercleFinance.com) - Vivendi's Extraordinary General Meeting, held today in Paris, approved by 99.
98% the two resolutions submitted to vote.
The modification of the articles of association thus decided to enable Vivendi to distribute dividends and interim dividends, reserves or premiums by remittance of goods in kind, including in the form of financial securities.
This approval makes it possible for the Management Board to continue its study of the project to distribute 60% of the capital of Universal Music Group (UMG) in shares to Vivendi shareholders.
