Vinci: acquires Entrevias in Brazil
(CercleFinance.com) - Vinci Highways, a subsidiary of Vinci Concessions, has announced that it has completed the acquisition of 55% of Entrevias, a Brazilian company holding two toll motorway sections in Brazil until 2047, from the Brazilian fund Patria.
These two sections form a 570-kilometre network crossing the state of São Paulo and linking the states of Minas Gerais and Paraná, three states that contribute to over 40% of Brazilian GDP. In Q1 2023, Entrevias recorded 8.3 million transactions.
With this first motorway concession in Brazil, Vinci Highways is expected to benefit from Entrevias' experience in motorway contracting in Brazil with local companies to seize new opportunities in the country.
