Vinci: Barclays inches up target price

(CercleFinance.com) - Barclays announced on Thursday that it is adding a euro to its target price for Vinci shares (from 80 euros to 81 euros), while maintaining an "equal weight" rating on the stock.

In a research note, the broker explains that the French construction and concessions group's businesses are well positioned to benefit from the recovery, but that their balance is far from "ideal".

According to Barclays, Vinci's excessuve exposure to the airport business (compared to its peers) may indeed penalise its earnings recovery trajectory.

In this respect, analysts say that they currently prefer share with greater exposure to tolls, such as Eiffage and Ferrovial.
