Vinci: contract for wastewater treatment plant in Vietnam
(CercleFinance.com) - Vinci has said that the consortium it belongs to (with a 50% stake, alongside Acciona Agua) has won the contract for the design and construction of phase 1 of the Nhieu Loc-Thi Nghe wastewater treatment plant in Hô Chi Minh City.
This contract is set to last five years, including the start-up period and the acceptance of works. The project also includes the project's operation and maintenance for five years.
This 200 million euro wastewater treatment plant project (170 million euros for the design and building and 30 million euros for its operation and maintenance) is financed by the World Bank. The project will employ up to 800 local workers at its peak.
