Vinci: Takeover of London Gatwick Airport
(CercleFinance.com) - Vinci Airports announces that it has concluded an agreement concerning the purchase of 50.
01% of the shares of the company owning the London Gatwick airport, thus allowing it to take a strategic position in London, the largest airport market in the world.
For the financial year ended last March, Gatwick Airport Group recorded an overall turnover of 764.2 million pounds and an EBITDA de 411.2 million. As the number two airport in the United Kingdom, it received 45.7 million passengers in 2018.
The acquisition price for the majority participation by Vinci was set at approximately 2.9 billion pounds.
