Vinci: contract for Copenhagen metro
(CercleFinance.com) - Vinci has announced that Metroselskabet has awarded the design and construction of its new metro line (line 4, called “Sydhavn”) in Copenhagen to the consortium that is equally formed from Vinci Construction Grands Projets and Hochtief Infrastructure.
Both the French and German groups specify that under this agreement, amounting to 460 million euros, which was signed on 9 March, the design and construction of the new line are set to last for a period of six years.
It covers the digging of twice 4.4 km of tunnel, five underground stations and two ventilation shafts. Work includes electromechanical systems and the architectural works of stations, as well as ventilation in the tunnels.
