Vinci: wins contract to operate motorway in Russia.
(CercleFinance.com) - Vinci Highways (Vinci Concessions) has announced signing, through its subsidiary UTS, a 10-year contract for the operation of new sections totalling 359 km on the motorway between Moscow and St.
Petersburg.
With this new contract, Vinci Highways, via its subsidiaries UTS and TCH, becomes the only operator of the 669 km motorway stretch between Moscow and St. Petersburg. Vinci said that several sections are still being built and should be operational in 2018.
After three years of sustained growth, this new contract confirms Vinci Highways as the leading private road operator in Russia, operating a motorway network of 935 km.
