Capgemini: towards a board shake-up
(CercleFinance.com) - Capgemini announces that its Board of Directors will propose to its 2021 AGM the renewal of Patrick Pouyanné's term of office as Director and the appointments of Tanja Rueckert and Kurt Sievers as members of the Board of Directors for a term of four years, as Ms.
Bouverot and Messrs. Bernard and Pringuet have said that they do not wish to renew their mandates.
These proposals are in line with the group's aim to further “internationalise” its composition, deepen its sectoral expertise and enrich the diversity of its profiles.
Tanja Rueckert has a strong background in software, the Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence and digital transformation.
Meanwhile, Kurt Sievers would bring his expertise in the automotive sector, technology and artificial intelligence, in addition to his knowledge of North America and US governance.
Assuming that these resolutions are approved by the AGM of 20 May 2021, the Board of Directors would therefore increase to 14 directors, including two directors representing the employees and one director representing employee shareholders.
