Saint-Gobain: Oddo raises target price
(CercleFinance.com) - Oddo BHF reiterates its "buy" rating on the Saint-Gobain share, having raised its target price from 37 euros to 41 euros, not including a "hidden carbon asset" of at least eight euros per share, corresponding to a valuation of the emissions avoided by the group's products.
The analyst says that discussions are currently underway to define a methodology that would include the CO2 emissions avoided by insulation products in a possible scope 4. He notes that Saint-Gobain has greater potential than its competitors.
In the nearer future, the group should announce an extraordinary dividend (Q3), appoint Benoit Bazin as CEO (H1 2021) and relaunch its program of disposals of under-performing assets (2021), he adds.
