Saint-Gobain: reiterates outlook for 2018
(CercleFinance.com) - After trading on Thursday Saint-Gobain reported Q1 2018 sales of 9.
76 billion euros, down 1.8% as reported, but up 1.6% like-for-like.
By business, the "Innovative materials" division recorded a 3.7% like-for-like increase in revenues to 2.55 billion euros. Meanwhile, the contribution from building products reached 3.05 billion euros, up 3.2% compared to Q1 2017, while the "Building Distribution" segment's sales reached 4.4 billion euros, down 0.7%.
After this publication, the group confirmed its target of further like-for-like growth in operating income, at end-2018.
