Saint-Gobain: hit by the cyber attack of 27 June.
(CercleFinance.com) - Saint-Gobain has said that it has been affected by the major cyber attack of 27 June, but management said that it has made every effort to ensure the continuity of its operations and in particular to minimise the impact on clients.
Its IT systems were disconnected to stop the spread of the virus and
alternative devices were immediately implemented in all of
Saint-Gobain's businesses. No personal data was disclosed to third
parties.
The group continued, saying that the majority of our businesses are already functioning normally. A week after the attack, much progress has been made in all of our systems with a full return to normal expected early next week.
