Veolia: energy concessions in Braunschweig
(CercleFinance.com) - Veolia announces that, through its subsidiary BS|Energy, it has been awarded, the concessions for the electric and gas networks in the city of Braunschweig, in northern Germany, for a period of 20 years from 1 January 2021.
Within the framework of the contract, awarded following a call to tender, around 500 employees will be operating more than 2,960 km of electricity network and 1,140 km gas network in the city.
In addition to the operation "To ensure... efficiency, affordability and best-in-class consumer service," the concession contract includes the construction, maintenance and management engineering of the grid.
