Schneider Electric: Aveva completes acquisition of OSIsoft
(CercleFinance.com) - Schneider Electric has announced that its majority-owned subsidiary Aveva has completed the acquisition of OSIsoft, a transaction that it announced on 25 August for a total of 5 billion dollars.
OSIsoft's PI System is a leading platform for acquiring and structuring data for its customers, specialising in the essential applications at the heart of Aveva's and Schneider Electric's strategy, it said.
OSIsoft will be fully consolidated within the industrial automation activity through Aveva. Following this transaction, Schneider Electric's stake in Aveva stands at 58.6%.
