(CercleFinance.com) - On Monday morning Schneider Electric announced the signature of memoranda of understanding for the acquisition of a majority stake in Automation Technology/ETAP Automation, a leading provider of power system design and simulation software.
Schneider will also make a strategic minority investment in Planon Beheer B.V., a leader in building and work environment management software.
These targeted operations will enhance the Energy Management software offering and are in line with the group's strategic vision to develop its full suite of reference software.
