Schneider Electric: raises annual targets
(CercleFinance.com) - For FY 2018, Schneider Electric now targets organic growth in adjusted EBITA of between +8% and +9% (vs.
+7% to +9% previously), with organic growth of 6% in sales and an organic improvement of between +30 and +50 basis points in its margin.
In Q3, the group posted revenues of 6,377 million euros, up 8% as reported and up 7.2% on an organic basis, with organic growth of 7.4% in energy management and 6.6% in industrial automation.
Following the current evolution of financial markets, Schneider Electric may decide to accelerate its previously announced share buyback plan (around 1 billion euros to be completed by mid-2019) in order to complete it in 2018.
