EssilorLuxottica: files appeal against court judgment
(CercleFinance.com) - On Friday, the EssilorLuxottica confirms its decision to appeal against the judgment which rejected its request to obtain access to information from the Dutch chain of GrandVision optical stores.
"EssilorLuxottica is concerned about GrandVision's behavior in continuing to deny access to important information related to their handling of the COVID-19 outbreak".
"Legal proceedings, including the appeal, do not affect the review of the proposed transaction by the competition authorities in the remaining jurisdictions," the Franco-Italian optical group said however.
