Colas: wins contract in Canada
(CercleFinance.com) - Colas announced on Monday evening that its subsidiary Colas Rail signed a contract with the Mosaic Transit Group consortium in August 2020 for the construction of the tracks of the Metrolinx Finch West light rail line in Toronto, Canada.
"With 18 stops across an 11-kilometer corridor, the Finch West LRT will connect local communities to other transit providers in the Greater Toronto Area including GO Transit, Miway, YRT and Züm. The contract awarded to Colas Rail by Mosaic Transit Group is Colas Rail's first major urban railway project in Canada," it said.
Track construction work is scheduled to begin in September 2020 for completion in June 2022.
