Peugeot: launches Opel- Segula Technologies partnership
(CercleFinance.com) - Peugeot announces the official launch of the strategic partnership between its Opel brand and Segula Technologies, which includes the creation of an engineering campus in the German state of Hesse, in addition to Opel's R&D centre.
About 700 employees will already move from Opel to Segula Technologies. This group will also take over Rüsselsheim buildings and facilities and will perform operations at the Dudenhofen test centre.
Peugeot confirms that Rüsselsheim will remain central to its R&D activities, designing and engineering future Opel and Vauxhall models, as well as developing light commercial vehicles, petrol engines and fuel cells.
