PSA: participates in 5G cross-border test
(CercleFinance.com) - The PSA group has announced that, alongside Vodafone and Ericsson, it has participated in the first 5G cross-border data connection in the world, which was successfully completed between the towns of Tui (Spain) and Valenca do Minho (Portugal).
A professional player from the Vodafone Giants team travelled between these two border towns in a Peugeot Traveller, while playing a game online, he experienced no interruption, the company said.
This test was intended to check stability and that there was no cut-off in 5G, in a particular context - i.e. when crossing borders.
