Peugeot: investment at Gliwice site
(CercleFinance.com) - Car maker PSA announces that it has decided to expand its presence in Gliwice, Poland by an investment that aims to increase the plan's production capacity to 100,000 vans per year by 2021.
It explains that its plant in SevelSud (Italy) has exceeded its production capacity in the last three years and that the convergence of the Opel/Vauxhall brands on the platform for large vans now requires additional production capacity.
The increase in the production capacity of large vans for the Peugeot, Citroën, Opel and Vauxhall brands will enable the group to better serve its customers by the end of 2021 and will provide industrial visibility for over ten years on the Gliwice site.
