Peugeot: Q3 and 9m sales up
(CercleFinance.com) - Unveiled this Wednesday evening, PSA group's Q3 sales reached 15.
43 billion euros, compared to 14.31 billion a year before.
The car maker's sales therefore came in at 54.02 billion euros at the end of September, compared with 41.86 billion euros in the same period of 2017, which corresponds to growth of 29.1%. Cumulative growth since the start of the Push to Pass plan at the constant exchange rates and consolidation scope is 21.6%, the group said.
With a total of 843,000 vehicles sold, the total Q3 2018 sales are up in Europe, but down outside Europe, particularly due to the group suspending its operations in Iran in May 2018.
Philippe de Rovira, Chief Financial Officer of Groupe PSA and member of the Executive Committee, said, "The execution of Push to Pass strategic plan and PACE! Opel Vauxhall turnaround plan is again proving to be a strong lever to deliver a sustainable performance despite an adverse environment."
