Peugeot: all cars certified under WLTP test procedure

(CercleFinance.com) - The French car maker has said that all Peugeot, Citroën, DS, Opel and Vauxhall passenger cars have now been certified under the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP).

"WLTP is a more rigorous and longer test developed to better reflects real driving customers' consumption and emissions than the previous test NEDC," PSA said.

The next step will come with the future Euro 6.d-Temp standard, which will be applicable from September 2019. It will also take into account pollutant emissions (NOx, PN) measured in real driving conditions on open roads or RDE (Real Driving Emissions).
