Peugeot: worldwide sales up 15% in H1 2017.
(CercleFinance.com) - The group sold 1,025,000 units at the end of June, with a 15% rise in world-wide sales.
The brand is on track set to achieve its target of 2 million cars sold in 2017.
Group sales outside Europe rose by 46%. They now account for 41% of group sales worldwide, which is in line with the 2017 objective of achieving 45% of sales outside Europe and with the commitment to reaching 50% of sales outside Europe by 2020.
The new PEUGEOT 3008 SUV, which has received 28 awardsn including the prestigious "2017 Car of The Year" award, has beaten all records in terms of the international order book with 205,000 orders since launch and 114,900 sales in the first half-year.
