Thales: 9m sales flat in organic terms
(CercleFinance.com) - Thales has reported 9m 2019 sales of 12,410 million euros, up 14.
1%, after the integration of Gemalto, although sale were completely flat at a constant consolidation scope and exchange rates.
Order intake amounted to 10,445 million euros, up 10% (-6% in organic terms). Over this period, the electronics group for transport and security booked nine major orders worth more than 100 million euros, for a total of 1,905 million euros.
Thales forecasts FY 2019 organic sales growth of around 1%, along with FY EBIT of between 1,980 million and 2,000 million euros. Order intake over the full-year is expected to be slightly more than 18 billion euros.
