Thales: H1 earnings up 22%

(CercleFinance.com) - Thales has announced H1 2019 consolidated net income, group share that is up 22% at 557 million euros (+7% in adjusted terms), with EBIT that is up 8% at 820 million euros (+4% in organic terms).


H1 sales of the electronics group for transport, security and defense increased by 9.9% to 8.2 billion euros (-0.5% in organic terms), while its new orders rose by 10% to 7 billion euros (-1% in organic terms).

Based on these figures, which are in line with its expectations, Thales confirms all of its 2019 financial targets, albeit with organic sales growth expected at the lower end of the range previously set (3% to 4%).
